Cabinet Minister for Enterprise, Connectivity and Energy, Adam Price has welcomed today’s announcement of 480 new jobs at Airbus’ Broughton site.

Nine Welsh games companies are set to take on a side quest when they exhibit at Tokyo Game Show as part of Creative Wales’ first visit to the global showcase.

The Deputy First Minister, Sioned Williams, has issued the following statement.

• Welsh Government is finalising its approach to a National Energy Strategy.
• The Strategy will set out a vision for a renewable energy sector that retains value in Welsh communities.

• Organisations can apply for grants of £50,000 to £250,000 to invest in new equipment and technology
• The funding will help organisations boost productivity and efficiency, support long-term growth, and encourage resource-efficient, circular economy projects
• Applications are now open and close at 11:59pm on 25 September 2026
