A new Bill to improve well-being and public services, through social partnership and socially responsible procurement  has been introduced today by the Deputy Minister for Social Partnership, Hannah Blythyn.

The Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Bill will put Wales’ successful social partnership approach onto the statute book.

A new initiative is being launched in Wales to help local museums, archives and libraries showcase, share and celebrate local LGBTQ+ history and culture in their collections, Welsh Government ministers have announced today.

The Minister responsible for veteran’s support in Wales has thanked past and present Armed Forces personnel for their bravery, as the nation remembers the sacrifices of all personnel since World War One.

With the Welsh Government pledging to be the most LGBTQ+ friendly nation in Europe, Deputy Minister for Social Partnership Hannah Blythyn, today launched the LGBTQ+ Action Plan consultation, which will outline the Welsh Government’s determination to achieve this historic ambition.

The publication of the Action Plan begins the consultation process for everyone right across Wales to play a part in the process and help make sure equality is for everyone and no-one is left behind in Wales.   

As Pride Month draws to a close, Deputy Minister for Social Partnership Hannah Blythyn, highlighted the Welsh Government’s record in advancing LGBTQ+ rights in Wales and outlined a package of measures to help make Wales the most LGBTQ+ friendly nation in Europe.  

As celebrations take place across the country for Armed Forces Week [21 to 27 June], this year’s events also mark 10 years since organisations across Wales signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant.
