Additional services to deal with Holyhead Port temporary closure
Partners are continuing to work together to ensure passengers and freight are able to travel to and from Ireland ahead of the Christmas period following the temporary closure of the port of Holyhead.
Rescheduled road works to begin on A470
Motorists are advised to plan ahead before they travel as major road works and a full road closure will begin on the A470 between Talerddig and Dolfach on 20 January and end on 11 April. This follows a pause on the works due to the rail collision on the Cambrian railway line in October.

Menai Suspension Bridge reopens over winter after hanger replacement completed on schedule
Excellent progress has been made on works to restore the Menai Suspension Bridge. Following the replacement of all 168 hangers on the bridge it has been confirmed that phase one of the programme will be completed on schedule. The bridge will reopen on Saturday 2 November [00:01hrs].
