The Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services, Julie Morgan today (November 12) launches the new Parenting. Give it Time campaign providing information, support and advice for parents.
The pandemic has had an impact on families, including increased isolation, supporting children who are self-isolating, or dealing with their own or their children’s anxiety.
The new campaign covers issues reflecting parents concerns during the pandemic, including how to understand and respond to children’s behaviour. Offering practical tips and expert advice on a range of issues, with the core three themes being: your child’s behaviour, giving your child time, and supporting parents through the challenges they face.
Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services, Julie Morgan said; “We understand the pressures on parents and families, this year more than ever, and we want parents to know about the help they can find on Parenting. Give it Time.
Parents can be assured that the advice and information on Parenting. Give it Time has been produced or checked by experts or professionals who work with parents.
I want to say thank you to parents and guardians for all they are doing to support their families during this difficult time. I would encourage families to follow the Parenting. Give it time social media channels to find out more.”
