The Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales Ken Skates has today welcomed the UK Government’s announcement that changes will be made to the way driving tests are booked, so that only learner drivers can book slots helping cut down waits for tests.

Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales Ken Skates said:

“I am delighted with UK Government’s announcement today that they will deal with the resellers and bots that have been preventing people in Wales from getting timely driving test slots.

“Young people across Wales have been fed up of waiting months for their tests so I’m pleased this will put them back at the front of the queue.”
