Bathing water status - first time entrant Penarth beach, awarded 'Excellent'
Dawnstalkers who meet every day on Penarth beach for a sunrise sea swim, whatever the weather, welcome in December with a dip. Welsh Government hopes that applications for bathing water status being open to the public will help encourage more cold water swimming groups which has multiple benefits for people's physical and mental health.
